ruby red BEETS

I LOVE beets!
~steamed, pickled and harvard~
{fresh are my favorite}
When I make {fresh} harvard beets
it always reminds me of watching my grandma make them.
She didn't use a recipe,
she just added enough butter, sugar, flour and vinegar to her steamed whole or diced beets until they were perfect
{and they always were}
YUM!

  1. Your beets look perfect too!! I'm sure it tasted as good as it looks.
    Your grandmother made her 'famous' coleslaw the same way. It, too, was always perfect.
