Tropical flavors on the Grill

Scooped out, filled up, and grilled to caramelized perfection. These Pineapple Boats were an easy and fun dinner to make.

First, we cut up chicken and infused it with a zesty marinade.

Then, the pineapples were cut in half, scooped out and cut into chunks.

Next, we chopped green onions, red peppers and cilantro and after that, it was time to grill.

Golden brown marinated chicken, served over rice in a charming pineapple bowl and a squeeze of lime for added flavor. A perfect blend of sweet and savory flavors.

Kung PAO Chicken

The hubs tried out his skills last night in Chinese cooking!

The recipe was from one of his new cookbooks.

It gets ⭐⭐⭐⭐from us!! 

It was so good and tasted just like what we order at our favorite Chinese Restaurant. We will definitely be making this regularly.

Also, my Orchid is in bloom and is just beautiful so had to share!

Chicken Stir~Fry with Rice Noodles

Outside stir~fry is the way to go!

No more splatter to clean up in the kitchen. All of that is now outdoors which is so much better and makes cleanup much easier. 

A lot more surface area too.

We tried it and we liked it ….. a lot!

Oktoberfest 2022 :: BBQ, Band, Bonfire & BEAVS

Last weekend was our

2nd Annual

Oktoberfest BBQ/Street Party.

In fact, it was such a hit last year that we kicked it up a notch and hired a Band this time.

The grill masters did another great job on the Brats, Chicken and Hot Dogs. They also received Oktoberfest aprons this year which was fun.

There are also always a lot of amazing sides including a new addition...

...Dill Pickle Soup. It was amazing!

Once the sun went down and it began to get cold it was time for the annual Bon Fire in our DIY portable fire pit.

It was also full moon last weekend which was of course absolutely beautiful and lit up the clear fall sky. It doesn't get better than that, 

except it did...

... with the Oregon State BEAVERS and their incredible game-winning touchdown in the last 13 seconds of the last game of the night!

A great way to end the fun day.
