We picked a peck of Peaches
And baked some in a pie
Served it warm with fresh whipped cream
Piled a mile high!
We picked our peaches recently and have been making all types of yummy treats.
Peach pie was a special request from the hubs so of course that was on the list of things to make.
Since our first crop was small I tried to conserve the peaches as much as possible so we could use them in as many recipes as possible.
And of course have enough left over to just slice up in a bowl and eat.
Because fresh is always best. At least we think so.
Our pie was served warm from the oven with a dollop, or two, of fresh whipped cream.
It doesn't get better than that!
