One of the things I love about summer is the variety and abundance of fresh local produce.
No matter how they are served fresh peaches are always a summer favorite. Last week I made not one but two fresh peach sweet treats. One was for dessert and the other for our Saturday morning family coffee klatch. Mm, mm Good!
Baking has been at a minimum this week due to the very hot weather we have been having. Temperatures are supposed to be back down in the 90's soon however we may still prefer something cool and repeat Root Beer Floats again this weekend.
