mailed with ♥ L•O•V•E ♥

Yesterday I was so excited to find this heart sealed envelope in our mailbox. Even more exciting....the return address....it was "MOM mail"! The envelope was a bit puffy and a little squishy which piqued my curiosity.  As I walked back to the house I gently squeezed the hidden contents between my fingers trying to guess
what I might find inside
??????
It didn't take long to discover I had received a
Grand Surprise...
 a LOVEly
felted wool ♥alentine candle wrap!
A Valentines gift from my parents
handmade with LOVE
by
my MOM!!!
Total cuteness!
I absolutely L•O•V•E love it!!
I couldn't wait to try it out so I immediately grabbed some candles and tied it on.

Winter Wonderland

Our first SNOW of the season
finally arrived yesterday!!
We took a drive out of town and the snow was so beautiful along the way I had to snap a few pictures.

Back at our house...
it was snowing off and on throughout the day
which makes us
SNOW Happy!!

★★★★ BREAD

A new FAVORITE....
Garlic Parmesan Pull-Apart Bread
  ....it is deeeeelicious!
I served this easy to make yeast bread with an Italian dinner last night and received rave reviews. Next time we want to try it with a little marinara sauce as suggested in the recipe
which can be found here .

No SNOW...

no problem....
...plenty of faux SNOW here!

The cute wool Snowman Penny Rug was made by my mother who loves wool and creates so many beautiful things. In fact, a Round Robin Wool Pin Cushion that she and one of her friends made was posted last spring on the Sweet P Quilting and Creations blog.
Go here to see their adorable pin cushion.
Go here to read Paulette's post today about meeting Mom at Starbuck's and their shopping trip to The Quilter's Faire.
Sew fun!

And, here is my current faux SNOW project
...in progress...
This candle wrap pattern is from Bareroots.
