Baby it's Cold Outside!

It's hard to believe it's so cold outside today when you look out the window and see such sunny, blue skies although the snow in the yard is a sure sign of the frigid weather. Other than the snow and ice it was a routine Friday morning until we discovered, right outside our door, a random act of kindness related to the cold temperatures. Some kind, thoughtful person had apparently walked around last night and lifted all the windshield wipers up off the windows of all the cars that were parked out on the street and in the driveways of the homes in our neighborhood, including ours. What a grand surprise! In inclement weather I have noticed this practice in the hills where we live but have never remembered to do it to our cars when the conditions called for it. What a great way to start the day. I will now be trying to think of a way to pass it forward!
