Banana Sour Cream Coffee Cake

Last week the school cafeteria had another box of over ripe bananas and shared some with the staff. The small bananas have dark spots but still nice enough for baking. SO, you guessed it, I helped myself to a half dozen or so. 

I knew exactly what I wanted to make this time. 

This Banana Sour Cream Coffee Cake recipe is one we really like. It calls for sour cream and pecans which, in my opinion, is what makes it great. At least we think so.

Lo-Mein Stir fry

Mr. Wonderful made a new recipe for dinner recently

it was SO good!

Lots of fresh veggies . . . . . 

 . . . and some shrimp.

Then a little spicy sauce . . .

 . . . stir fry noodles . . .

. . . and wal~la ! 

It doesn't get better than that!

Fajita Night

Another Blackstone dinner night. 

This time it was Fajitas. YUM!

An easy dinner to make and clean up which is always a Bonus!

We like them spicy so we always add a little kick to our recipe which Mr. Wonderful really appreciates.

We also prefer to top ours off with Avocado slices, a sprinkle of Cilantro and some hot salsa on the side. 

Fajitas never tasted so good!

(at least we think so 😉)

This lovely loaf of Braided Cardamom Bread

was made by our Daughter in Law and tasted amazing!

It was perfect in every way, shape and form.

She wrapped it beautifully and attached this very special card that was hand painted by one of her friends. ♥

The perfect treat on a cold winters day!

January Chalkboard

Happy New Year!

Starting 2025 off with a little indoor snow in hopes we get a little snow this winter.

 Even if it doesn’t snow at least we have a Chalkboard Snowman in the house and some other snowy decorations to keep things festive.
