We finally made our 1st SMASH Burgers!
Saturday we decided to give them a try since we have heard so much about them from our friends and neighbors.
This was completely new to us since we had never had one before. All we had to go on was advice and instructions from everyone who shared their experience with us.
We were pretty sure we understood how to do it so Mr. Wonderful set things up and prepped the hamburger, buns and condiments. I had prepared the rest of the meal ahead of time.
He smashed them flat and that was that.
Then flip, add cheese and voilà ….
….they were done!
They were not too much different however just enough to make this a new favorite. Also, they cook up quick since they are not as thick as a regular hamburger pattie. So, if the patties are premade, it does not take long to get dinner on the table.
Also, these burgers have two patties because they are small and thin so still about the same amount.
A new favorite at our house!
