Farmhouse Tea { farm fresh treats }

This  year I made programs in the form of booklets { more about the programs in the next post } for our Farmhouse Tea and, as usual, it included the menu. I ended up making some last minute recipe changes after the programs were finished, so, what you see listed isn't exactly what we ended up having with our tea but it is somewhat close. 

Instead of serving traditional dainty tea party food this time I decided to make treats that seemed a little more farm friendly.  Our menu of Farm Fresh Treats started with tea sized BLT's {aka: farmer's sandwich }, along with some hearty salads, assorted muffins and scones, fresh homemade strawberry jam, devonshire cream and several Berry Sweet farm style Desserts.

I thought some orange juice would go nicely with our Farmhouse Tea.
