popcorn ornaments

These are fun ornaments to make.

You'll need:

GLASS ball ornaments

Popcorn kernels 

ribbon { optional }

1. Remove the tops of the ornament

2. Fill with popcorn kernels 

{*amount of popcorn depends on size of ornament~see below}

3. Microwave a few seconds to start, add time as necessary

{total amount of time will vary with each microwave}

4. After the popcorn is finished popping shake out any unpopped kernels

5. Replace top and add ribbon

  

*For the mini ornaments I used only ONE kernel of popcorn per ornament.

*For the large ornaments I used approximately 10-15 popcorn kernels in each but amount may vary depending on the size of ornament}. It doesn't take very many kernels to fill the ornament once they have popped. 

NOTE: Occasionally an ornament will break during popping so watch carefully while in the microwave and check for broken glass.
